The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is an integral test given to prospective law school candidates to assess reading comprehension, logical, and verbal reasoning proficiencies. The next date for the LSAT exam is February 10, 2018.

Understanding LSAT Scoring

The LSAT tests are scored on a scale of 120-180, with the average score being about 150. However, if you’re looking to get into one of the top 25 law schools, your score should be well over 160. There are about 101 questions in each test and each question answered correctly accounts for one point of your raw score.

It is of course important to do as much preparation as you can in order to score high on your LSAT. Many good law schools require a 171 or better and the competition is fierce.  There are many great prep classes that are worth the investment. Unfortunately, many students spend hours of preparation and still end up with scores that are lower than what they will need to get into a good law school.

How Hypnosis Can Help

One of the reasons you may score lower on the LSAT, regardless of all the hours of prep you do, is due to test taking anxiety. This is where hypnosis works to help you achieve your best possible score on the LSAT. When you feel anxious during any exam, it affects your memory recall. When you are anxious, your mind may blank out on previously studied material. Hypnosis works with your unconscious mind allows you to relax during the exam and reach a peak level of test taking performance. When the pressure is taken off the conscious mind, the unconscious mind can retrieve the previously studied material.

Hypnosis will also help you with the endurance required to stay focused and achieve the best score possible. Taking the LSAT test is a marathon. The LSAT test is 175 minutes long and the writing sample is 30 minutes long. Marathon’s require the utmost preparation, focus and stamina and hypnosis will help you with your ability to have staying power through the entire exam. You must be able to move through the exam quickly and accurately and when you add in time for the administrative work and breaks, the entire LSAT experience is 4 to 5 hours.
