The MCAT test has changed making it a much harder more stressful test compared to how it was even just a year ago.  The sitting time for the MCAT test has gone from 3 hours and 20 minutes to a huge increase of time to 6 hours and 15 minutes. The test used to be 144 questions and the questions have increased to 230 questions. This will require that you have more stamina and focus. The good news is that hypnosis will help you to increase your focus and stamina. The sections of the MCAT exam have also changed.

The New MCAT: Is It More Stressful Than Before?

The new sections: university level biochemistry, introductory psychology and introductory sociology. Passages will also place more emphasis on integrating the topics so you can expect to see a variety of topics all within the same passage. The breakdown of the questions are 10 passages with 4 to 6 questions from each,15 standalone questions in each of the science sections, and then 9 passages in the new Critical Analysis and Reasoning section.

The verbal reasoning section has been renamed to ‘Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills‘, or CARS. Unlike the previous Verbal Reasoning section, the new CARS section no longer includes passages on the natural sciences but instead it focuses exclusively on humanities and social sciences passages. Your preparation in psychology and sociology will be useful here!

The reasoning behind the increased length is that it will help train and prepare you for lengthy hours spent at the hospital where being able to concentrate intensely for extended periods of time is necessary. Getting into Medical School is tough, and like any good doctor, having the right tools, such as those that use hypnosis and self-hypnosis will help you succeed.

The changes to the MCAT 2017 are intended to continually improve the medical field and its physicians, which should be reassuring to patients. Medical School will prepare you to be a good doctor, the MCAT will prepare you for Medical School, and using tele-hypnosis can help you prepare and get your highest score on your MCAT.
