Then there’s the subconscious mind—no logic, reason, or willpower, it is reactive and behavioral. It is your “feeling mind” It is your servant and will do what it is directed to do. This is the programable part of the mind. It is the software of your mind.
Everything that goes through your conscious mind happens as a result of association from your subconscious mind, even if you rationalize it. But hypnosis bypasses and quiets that conscious part of the mind, and makes positive associations for the subconscious.
By bypassing the critical factor of the mind and allowing the conscious mind to be on a small break during hypnosis, you can reprogram the subconscious with what you really want instead of what you don’t want. It is you taking back control of your own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that you want to improve and change.
